The company’s Prototype and Manufacturing Lab facility provides full service design review and production. With a precise surface mount assembly line and hand assembly line, the laboratory allows for expeditious and defect-free production of new and redesigned electronics hardware. It provides component procurement, assembly profile establishment, manufacturability analysis and small volume production services.
The company’s Microelectronics Lab features advanced systems development and assembly, enabling STI to develop highly integrated hardware to meet shrinking form and fit factor requirements as well as increasing thermal loads. While emerging packaging materials are continuously evaluated to optimise electrical and thermal performance, the Microelectronics Lab specialises in state-of-the-art engineering design including current technologies such as Chip-On-Board (COB) and Multichip Module (MCM) as well as emerging technologies such as Imbedded Component/Die Technology (IC/DT).
Following the recent addition of some of the industry’s newest and most advanced analytical tools and equipment, STI’s Material Failure Analysis Laboratory offers enhanced capabilities.
