A broad catalogue of PXI, Ethernet LXI and PCI switching solutions will be deomstrated by Pickering Interfaces at ElectroTest Expo in Culham Oxfordshire (March 2). These products include Pickering’sPXI BRIC Large Matrices, RF Matrices, Microwave Multiplexers, LXI Chassis, PCI RF Matrices and High-Density Multiplexers.

The 16A PXI Power Relay Modulesare available with a choice of 16 x, 12 x, and 10 x SPST, 12 x and 6 x SPDT power relays, for switching loads up to 16A at250VAC. These Power Relay Modules are intended for switching heavy AC or DC loads or for the slave switching of large external relays, contactors and solenoids.

The PXI Microwave Multiplexerssupport single, dual, or triple SP4T or SP6T relays and are available in a variety of different frequency options for 50 Ω, from 6GHz to 40GHz. All models occupy just two 3U PXI slots and feature LED’s that indicate which path of the multiplexer is closed.

The use of high-density packaging and integrated backplanes enables the PXI BRIC Family of Large Matrix Modules and Multiplexersto be implemented with no user configuration or special matrix expansion cabling.

These matrices use thru-hole relays and can be serviced using standard de-soldering tools, simplifying repair and reducing down time.  Our BRIC's integrated design ensures high matrix performance with high signal bandwidth and fewer system implementation errors.

The LXI Video Matrix isa dual 24x8 video matrix module suitable for switching frequencies up to 25MHz. It has a characteristic impedance of 75Ω with the option of SMB or MCX connectors or with a larger case size, BNC connectors.

The PCI RF Matrix (50-725) is an 8x9 RF Matrix Module suitable for switching frequencies up to 500MHz, available in either 50Ω or 75Ω versions with SMB coaxial connectors. It is intended for the easy construction of high performance bidirectional matrix switching systems.
