Perforce to showcase at Embedded World 2023

Perforce will be demonstrating the steps embedded software developers can take to get closer to this year’s show themes of ‘embedded, responsible, sustainable’ on stand 4-510 in Nuremberg from March 14th to 16th.

Perforce will also be demonstrating how it supports the latest MISRA C coding standard — MISRA C:2012 Amendment 3, published in October 2022 — which allows more features to improve security, portability and efficiency in embedded software projects.

Products featured on the stand will include the static analysis range (Klocwork and Helix QAC), Helix Core for version control, Hansoft project management, Helix ALM (application lifecycle management) and Methodics IPLM (IP lifecycle management for semiconductor chip design).

In addition, Perforce will be presenting on two topics delving deeper into MISRA:

Generic versus Explicitness in C, for maintainable and correct code – by Alex Gilding, Senior Software Engineer at Perforce Software, on March 14th from 2.15-2.45pm local time

Compliance MISRA C++2x versus MISRA C++08 – by Dr Frank van den Beuken, Principal Technical Support Engineer, Static Code Analysis at Perforce Software on March 15th from 17.00-17.30pm local time
