Mouser, Microchip partner on three free webcasts

Mouser Electronics has teamed up with Microchip Technology to present a series of three free webcasts created to help engineers incorporate Microchip products and accelerate the development cycle and reduce time to market.

The first free, live webcast, hosted by Microchip and sponsored by Mouser, occurs at 9 a.m. U.S. Mountain time on June 7, 2022, and will be available on demand after the event.

The first topic, Six Steps from Idea to Production Using Our MPLAB Ecosystem of Software and Hardware Tools, showcases MPLAB X, MPLAB Code Configurator, and XC Compilers along with hardware tools such as Microchip Curiosity Nano development boards to reveal how they work together to generate code quickly and efficiently.

The webcast will provide a step-by-step demonstration that highlights key procedures and items that will help engineers use Microchip tools more effectively when debugging and navigating code.

The second topic, Use the Core Independent Peripherals (CIP) and PIC and AVR MCUs to Create Custom Control Functions, takes place Tuesday, September 13, 2022, and shows how Microchip CIPs allows designers to create customised control functions for their applications while reducing CPU intervention and overhead.

The final webcast in the series occurs Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Titled Replace Fixed-Function Hardware in Your Next Design Using PIC & AVR MCUs, the webcast will demonstrate how PIC and AVR microcontrollers focus on peripheral integration, which can be leveraged to emulate fixed function hardware, often at a lower cost.
