Presenters can portray their latest views, exchange experiences with other international specialists and expand their knowledge on current and future lighting trends. Furthermore, the papers will be published in the LpS 2016 proceedings booklets.
Submitted lectures must be original material and should cover one of the following topics: lighting innovations; intelligent & connected lighting; smart technologies; engineering & design; lifetime & security; costs & manufacturing; best practice approaches & applications. The wide range of subjects can cover areas like luminaries & lamps; smart controls; light sources; optics; manufacturing & equipment. To ensure the high quality of the conference, an advisory board will review all abstracts handed in by February 19th, 2016.
The LED professional Scientific Award honours the best scientific paper from universities, research organisations or institutes with a financial contribution of €3,000. Furthermore, the winning paper will be published in the November/December issue of the LED professional Review.
