Innovation Zero World Congress to return for third year

From 29-30 April, one of the world’s largest Net Zero event, Innovation Zero World Congress, will take place for its third consecutive year at Olympia London.

The event will provide an opportunity for 10,000 business leaders, startups, innovators, investors, funders, and policy makers from across the public and private sectors worldwide to connect, collaborate, and share insights on overcoming obstalces to drive large-scale progress towards a low carbon economy.

The congress will host a range of highly topical panels over two days, exploring new public and private financial models, the future of artificial intelligence (AI) in climate science and policy, innovating new public and private financial models, Britain’s role as a climate champion in global trade and diplomacy, and more.

250+ content sessions will be spread across 13 forums and theatres, including energy, finance and built environment, transport, supply chain, nature, and land and sea.

A major highlight for 2025 is the expansion of the Innovators Zone, where over 100 startups offering scalable technologies and solutions will be showcased. There will also be new forums for high-level network, designed to foster collaborative and productive meetings between investors, funders, innovators, corporate buyers, and startups.

Each year, prominent organisations across industry, policy and academia have an established presence at the congress, and this year is set to be more subscribed than ever. Familiar names already confirmed to exhibit at Innovation Zero World 2025 include the Tony Blair Institute, CBI, Innovate UK, Green Finance Institute, London & Partners, Mission Innovation, UK100, Powerful Women, and Carbon Capture & Storage Association.

This year, Innovation Zero will be chaired by Dr Rhian-Mari Thomas OBE, Chief Executive of the Green Finance Institute and Chair of the National Wealth Fund Taskforce, and Crossbench Peer The Baroness Bryony Worthington, key architect of the UK’s world leading Climate Change Act. Together, Rhian-Mari and Bryony exemplify Innovation Zero’s mission to provide a platform for innovation in its broadest sense.

“We are delighted to partner with the Innovation Zero World Congress 2025 to showcase how innovation – in business, finance, technology and policy – can deliver a greener, more prosperous future,” said Dr Rhian-Mari Thomas.

“Innovation Zero World Congress is centred around celebrating all forms of innovation – from transformative technologies to forward-thinking policies. We are at a pivotal moment in the climate transition and our mission is to accelerate a just global shift to a low-carbon economy by fostering connections among innovators, funders, policymakers, and business leaders from all sectors and regions of the world. We look forward to creating an essential platform for collaboration that facilitates meaningful action,” concluded Tim Mann, Director of Innovation Zero.
