Exhibiting for the first time since a major rebrand, IMI Precision Engineering (formerly Norgren) will be bringing its expertise in motion control and fluid technologies to Hannover Messe, held from  13th to 17th April.

Visitors to stand C30 Hall 20 will be able to experience, first-hand, the ability to engineer 'great' solutions that has made IMI Precision Engineering a 'world leader' in fluid control. As well as finding out just how its products and solutions work, visitors can discover exactly what they can achieve by partnering with IMI Precision Engineering, in areas including energy saving, reliability and air control.

Stephan Bruckl, IMI Precision Engineering explained: “When it comes to precise fluid control, we have created a highly accurate and repeatable dispense of just 0.000208μl. To put that in perspective, it would take 4.8bn dispenses to fill a 1Lwater bottle, showing just how accurate our technology is for critical applications.

“The surprising statistics don’t stop there. We have harnessed proportional technology to control pilot pressures from 0-15psi with just 6mW of power, which means 1,000 pilots could be powered with the same energy as just one energy-saving lightbulb. This enhanced precision is in everything we do, visible across all our product portfolios for a variety of sectors, from industrial automation to rail and from life sciences to food and beverage.”

The IMI Precision Engineering stand will reveal how these feats of precise engineering have been achieved, with both German and English-speaking experts on hand to guide visitors through the solutions available for their individual requirements.

While IMI Precision Engineering might be a new name to Hannover Messe’s visitors, it is backed up by many decades of experience focusing on delivering high-performance solutions. This includes the company’s compressed air filtration technology, which can remove contamination down to 0.01μm and contributes to a safer, more reliable environment for downstream applications.
