The TSN/A Conference has established itself as the premier international conference for Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) experts to gather to learn the latest developments of this vital technology for the future of industrial automation.

In keeping with its position as a technology leader for TSN, the CC-Link Partner Association (CLPA) will support the event as a gold sponsor to highlight CC-Link IE TSN for industrial automation applications.

TSN is revolutionising industrial automation via the benefits it delivers such as converged network architectures. The CLPA will demonstrate how its CC-Link IE TSN solution delivers this in practice by enabling Ethernet protocols to coexist on the same cable, with OT and ITtraffic co-existing to deliver solutions for Industry 4.0.

A pioneer in the adoption of TSN for industry, the CLPA was the first to offer open industrial Ethernet that combines gigabit bandwidth with TSN functionality. Since then, it continues to grow the installed base with wide-reaching product and development support. The technology is also backed by leading global vendors such as Mitsubishi Electric which has already deployed and released over 100 key automation devices that incorporate CC-Link IE TSN.

Sharing its expertise, the CLPA will hold a presentation at the event on "How do suppliers and end-users achieve their digital transformation objectives?" Taking place on 27th September, the talk will examine the business case for system integrators, machine builders, vendors and end-users making TSN technology an integral part of their architecture.

Tom Burke, Global Strategic Advisor at the CLPA, will deliver the presentation: "At this year's event, we want to address the value proposition of TSN, assessing its current and future usage in industrial automation. We'll look at migration strategies for this new technology, backed by the experience of vendors actively developing solutions with the CLPA. I've also been personally involved in the development of edge level and fog computing applications that will harness TSN.

"There's real value in getting organisations together to discuss their respective technologies. With convergence in mind, it's important we collaborate on TSN technology. We're looking forward to meeting and networking with other experts in the field."

Attend Tom Burke's presentation "How do suppliers and end-users achieve their digital transformation objectives?" at the TSN/A Conference from 14:00-14:30 on 27th September at Forum am Schlosspark, Ludwigsburg, near Stuttgart, Germany.
