BYD Energy Storage celebrates 10 years of residential storage

Highlights of this year’s exhibition at booth B1.130-131 include the presentation of the new BYD Battery-Box products in combination with BYD’s Power-Box inverters. On 7^th May visitors will have the opportunity to attend the launch of new residential energy storage solutions at the event, including Battery-Box HVB, Battery-Box HVS+, and Battery-Box HVM+. In addition to newly launched products, the exhibition will also include the popular product models such as the low-voltage model Battery-Box LV5.0+ and its compatible inverter Power-Box SL7/8/10K.

At The Smarter E Europe, BYD Energy Storage will celebrate 10 years of residential storage and will present its milestone. Since the launch of the first residential storage system, especially the Battery-Box product line has established itself as one of the most popular and trusted residential storage solutions across the world. The system is renowned for both its safety, reliability, and flexibility which allows the partners and clients to adapt it to their specific application cases.

BYD Energy Storage's first end-to-end residential solution

The latest addition to the Battery-Box product family, Battery-Box HVE, will be available in the European market from the end of June and is offered in combination with BYD Energy Storage’s own Power-Box inverters, representing its first end-to-end residential storage solution. The three-phase system supports 5-15kW output, the single-phase system supports 3-6kW output, and it is capable of delivering 150% of rated power at peak output. The system is available in configurations ranging from 6.43kWh to 23.68kWh, and up to 70.43kWh with three towers connected in parallel. It also provides full backup functionality with a backup switch time of less than 10ms, enabling seamless on-grid / off-grid switching. The system is equipped with advanced intelligent energy management functions, offering remote diagnosis and OTA (over the air updates).

With a compact form factor and a depth of only 140mm, the Battery-Box HVE is the slimmest residential storage solution among the Battery-Box product family and can be installed on the floor or wall-mounted. The Battery-Box HVE innovatively designs two different capacity modules, 6kWh and 4kWh, which can be flexibly combined to meet users' personalised power needs. At the same time, it supports a 15-year long warranty, providing users with a more assured experience.

Product launch at The Smarter E Europe 2025

Additional new residential storage solutions will be launched on the afternoon of 7^th May  during The Smarter E Europe 2025 at booth B1.130-131 of the EES exhibition.
