The final agenda for Bluetooth Europe 2014, taking place in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 16th to 17th September, has been announced by the Bluetooth SIG. Continuing the discussion from Bluetooth World in San Jose and Bluetooth Asia in Shanghai earlier this year, Bluetooth Europe brings together those within the wireless industry to discuss the future of the Internet of Things.

Along with partner Altran, AdaCore will be sponsoring the inaugural High Integrity Software Conference (HIS), taking place in Bristol on the 23rd October 2014. HIS 2014, which is one day long, is a conference for sharing information about key challenges and recent developments within software engineering.

At European Microwave Week (EuMW), 5th to 10th October in Rome, Italy, M/A-COM Technology Solutions has announced it will exhibit in Booth 131. At the show MACOM will showcase the industry’s broadest GaN product portfolio, a live GaN on Si demo and a suite of products aimed at applications such as industrial, scientific, medical, E-Band point-to-point wireless and X-Band radar.

RS Components is returning to the Electronics and Engineering Design Show (Oct 22-23) as a headline sponsor. It will be a key participant in the exhibition and workshop programme, which will highlight a broad cross section of cutting-edge technology and product innovation free-of-charge to an anticipated 4,000 delegates from the UK’s design engineering community.

Display Solutions will be unveiling the newest touchscreen product from its DisplayTouch range at this year’s Electronics Design Show (Oct 22-23). Anritsu will demonstrate a test platform for engineers investigating the latest PAM4 and PAM8 (pulse amplitude modulation) techniques for use in 25Gbps and 28Gbps communications links at the ECOC exhibition in Cannes (Sept 22-24). The platform, which provides for high-quality simulation of PAM4 and PAM8 signals, consists of the Anritsu MP1800A signal quality analyser (Bit Error Rate Tester, BERT), combined with the MZ1834A PAM4 converter. GOEPEL electronics will showcase complete solutions for electrical test at this year’s electronica India trade show in Bangalore (Sept 23-25). Key focus is laid on Embedded System Access (ESA) technology. As part of it, GOEPEL electronic will present the ESA Coach, a special evaluation and training kit supporting the ESA technology.

Exhibiting at CeBIT Bilişim Eurasia & CeBIT Global Conference 2014 will be AEG Power Solutions, showcasing products ranging from surge protection for home and office to UPS systems for industry. Alongside its distributor, Kabim Elektronik, AEG PS will display its single-phase and three-phase UPS equipment which answers small and medium power protection requirements. 

Scheduled for October 7th in Colorado, USA, Metcal has announced that it will be holding its next rework workshop in conjunction with Kester Solder. Offering tips to unlock the latest rework challenges, experts from the two companies will discuss applications and rework approaches for BGA, PoP, QFN, QFP, 0201, LED and PTH.
