Surgical Robot Challenge 2016 now open for entries
The world’s pioneering researchers in robotic surgery are invited to showcase their innovative work by taking part in the Surgical Robot Challenge 2016. The Surgical Robot Challenge is open for entry from today, and the competition finals will be held from 20th to 27th June 2016 at the Hamlyn Symposium on Medical Robotics in London, as part of the first ever UK Robotics Week.
MPM demo draws in the crowds
The recent AOC International Symposium and Convention in Washington DC saw TMD Technologies organise daily live demonstrations to show visitors at first hand the company’s new solid state PTS6900 MPM (Microwave Power Module) - an module optimised for EW/ECM systems. Visitors to the TMD stand were able to see the PTS6900 operating into a dummy RF load, with the resultant output power shown on a display.
IDT to showcase wireless power at Consumer Electronics Show
Integrated Device Technology announced it will showcase several of its latest innovations at the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show in January. The company will demonstrate its groundbreaking wireless power technology, as well as the pioneering sensors developed by ZMDI, which IDT acquired earlier this month. The show runs from the 6th-9th of January in Las Vegas.
TQ product innovations for embedded world
TQ Systems will be presenting new modules based on ARM, x86 and QorIQ at embedded world, Hall 1, Stand 1-578. In the ARM area, TQ will be showing two new modules based on energy-saving Cortex A7 technology: The TQMa7x ARM module uses the i.MX7 at up to 1GHz.
