Zuken’s Annual Conferences Triumph

The European and American rally of Zuken’s annual conferences is now officially over, and despite the tough economic climate, a massive audience of over 700 people collectively attended the events in France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, UK and the USA.

As part of Zuken’s strategy that sees the company thinking globally and acting locally, for the first time the 2009 events saw the launch of local conferences in Europe that combined Zuken’s electronic and electrical solutions with “Zuken Engineering Days”, rather than a single pan-European conference – enabling Zuken to serve a wider audience.

In America they continued to build upon the widely respected Z-DAC, to draw in people from across the USA, Canada, and even a few from Europe.

Anyone who takes the time out to go along to one of Zuken’s conferences quickly realizes that they are true to word; these events are not just a long sales pitch – they really do deliver the well-rounded content that you would expect to see from an independent industry event.

Zuken hails itself as The Partner for Success, and the concept of partnership is clearly evident in every aspect of these conferences, from the presentations from third parties that range from board and wire harness manufacturers, industry consultants, hardware providers, testing and simulation equipment and software providers, through to users sharing experiences on all levels.

The exhibition areas at the events featured over 21 companies, some of whom include Aldec, BSAutomatisierung, CadCabel, CAETEK, CIM-BASE, First EDA, Gigatronic, Interconics, Jaltek, logi.cals, Rogers Corporation, Siemens Electronic Design House, STI Limited, Technomap, tecnotron elektronik, Weidmüller Interface WAGO, and 7(s) Engineering.

There was also a good presence from industry publications, with a wide range of media partnerships with Aerospace Engineering & Manufacturing, PCBDesign007, Off Highway Engineering in America; Panel & System Building plus Design Products & Applications in the UK; CAD Magazine in France; and Elektronik Praxis and Elektrotechnik in Germany.
