These job security measures were agreed upon by management and employee representatives as part of the recently decided reorganization of ZF. It applies to employees who are permanently employed at ZF at the end of 2010. “We promised that the introduction of the new, more customer-friendly structure of ZF Group would not result in any job losses,” says Hans-Georg Härter, CEO of ZF. “The agreement we reached delivers on this promise.”
“For the Group Works Council, it was crucial that the reorganization would not endanger any jobs and also would not result in a reduction of employee participation,” states Johann Kirchgässner, Chairman of the Group Works Council of ZF. “We were able to agree upon and ensure the fulfillment of both goals with the Board of Management as part of a comprehensive set of rules. This kind of approach attests to our highly developed corporate culture.”
