Vector Fabrics demonstrates vfThreaded-x86 software parallelization tool at the Intel Developer Forum

Vector Fabrics announces its participation at the forthcoming Intel Developer Forum. Visitors to the booth can see demonstrations of Vector Fabrics’ suite of cloud-based tools including the recently announced vfThreaded-x86.

The unique vfThreaded-x86 cloud-based tool analyzes and parallelizes applications for multi-core x86 architectures and will be showcased at Booth 413, September 13-15 in San Francisco.

vfThreaded-x86 is aimed at software developers that write performance-centric code for applications such as those in the high-performance computing, scientific, industrial, video and imaging domains. vfThreaded-x86 greatly reduces the time involved and the risks associated with parallelizing code for the latest multi-core x86 processors.

Vector Fabrics also recently announced the initial results of its collaboration with Imagination Technologies at SIGGRAPH 2011. Vector Fabrics’ vfEmbedded tool makes it easy to analyze and parallelize software making full use of OpenCL for application processors with PowerVR SGX Graphics Processing Units (GPUs).
