Also announced is news that 3D solder paste inspection machine manufacturer ASC International and Unicomp Technology have agreed to a worldwide collaboration for marketing, sales, technical support and technology sharing. This partnership is effective immediately with Unicomp and ASC working together to offer the highest level of technology and customer support possible.
As a result, Unicomp Technology’s facility in Oceanside will include the latest ASC International SPI machines for demonstration/service and full support. ASC International also will have the latest X-ray and cleaning technology from Unicomp in its Medina, MN manufacturing facility. ASC International and Unicomp Technology recently teamed up for the SMTA Chapter meeting in Eden Prairie, MN and will work together at the SMTA International Show, Rosemont, IL.
This collaboration between solder paste inspection and X-ray are complementary technologies with many common inspection links. This includes; hardware, software, motion controls, imaging, SPC reporting and ease of operation. This joint cooperation between Unicomp and ASC will help to streamline the customer decision and purchasing process for inspection solutions.
