Toshiba announces IP licensing agreement with INOVA Semiconductors

Toshiba Electronics Europe has announced an IP licensing agreement with INOVA Semiconductors under which the company will licence INOVA’s APIX® digital serial data link technology.
INOVA Semiconductors’ APIX two-wire Gigabit technology is becoming popular as a ‘de-facto’ standard for the transmission of video and other high-speed media data around vehicles. As a result of the new agreement, Toshiba will be able to integrate APIX functionality into its range of advanced, system-on-chip processors for automotive display applications.
