“By making our Telogy Software modules available for free to customers, we are extending our software offerings and further reducing our customers’ development time so they can focus on differentiating their products,” said Ramesh Kumar, multicore and media infrastructure business manager, TI. “Our customers not only have the flexibility to select from a range of TI devices in the C55x and C64x+ DSP platforms, but they also have a path to migration with our newly announced TMS320C66x multicore DSPs as these libraries become available on C66x devices next year.”
The voice processing modules augment the family of codecs already available to developers on TI’s website. VoLIB modules include:
· Telogy Software Line Echo Canceller (ECU)
· Tone Detection Unit (TDU)
· Caller ID Detection/Generation (CID)
· Tone Generation Unit (TGU)
· Voice Activity Detection Unit (VAU)
· Noise Matching Functions
· Packet Loss Concealment (PLC)
· Voice Enhancement Unit (VEU)
