Rubber cars – reality or a ridiculous concept
Back in 2010, James May discussed one of his visions for the future... rubber cars. This vision was based around the concept of vehicles which utilised rubbers of different densities and resiliences from the outside in which, in simple terms, would make minor collisions unnoticeable.
Fast forward to 2016 and White Cross Rubber Products, a UK-based specialist manufacturer of rubber sheeting, reinforced rubber sheeting and rubber coated textiles, decided to take a look at just how far the concept of ‘rubber cars’ has come in that time. To do so, the company put together the below infographic, titled Rubber Cars – A Reality Or A Ridiculous Concept.
