PTCRB stands for PCS Type Certification Review Board

PTCRB is a global organization providing the test specifications and methods necessary to support the certification process for GERAN, UTRAN, and E-UTRAN devices, which will be operating on PTCRB operator networks.

Once more the PVG made very good progress working on the technical PTCRB work items (RFTs), mainly concerned with cellular 2G, 3G and LTE. All results will be presented at the next PTCRB meeting in San Diego on the 3rd of December 2009.

PTCRB Test Case Database training
This time the PVG session was followed by an additional training concerning the latest updates of the PTCRB Test Case Database,
a valuable tool for everybody requesting PTCRB certification.

It is expected that the new PTCRB Test Case Database version will be launched soon.
