Digital Signage Specialist, ONELAN, has announced the signing of a license agreement that enables the company to include Adobe Flash animation software embedded within its Net Top Box range of digital signage platforms. The company’s V.6 software supports Flash 9 operation.
ONELAN’s most recent product launch, the 3300/5 Net-Top-Box includes more processing ability to power increased functionality, including Flash applications. The system is self-contained running the ultra-reliable Linux operating system with built-in interfaces for communicating with data sources and live television and video feeds. It is controlled via a web interface and may be programmed to display stored pages or live TV and video together with online data feeds, in independently controllable zones (areas), on plasma, LCD or LED screens.

Comments David Dalzell, Managing Director of ONELAN: “We are delighted to have signed this license deal with the makers of Adobe Flash animation software, as designers need to be sure they can legally use the best tools available to create the most eye-catching layouts, ensuring that the messaging is easily absorbed by the target audience.”
