The donation is made to support the disaster relief activities by the Japanese Red Cross Society to help those affected by the earthquake and tsunami of 11 March 2011.

Omron Europe’s CEO, Mr. Shizuto Yukumoto handed over a cheque of €100.000 to Mr. Cees Breederveld, Secretary General of the local branch of the International Red Cross organisation.
