Since their inception Omega Optical has been an industry leader in the design and production of custom manufactured optical interference filters.
Close collaboration with their engineers offers customers the resources needed to achieve optimum filter performance in their system. The availability of a variety of design software programmes, including TFCalc, FilmStar, The Essential McCloud and Optilayer make the most of Omega's diverse coating abilities. Currently 27 deposition chambers are in operation, covering dual magnetron reactive sputtering, physical vapour deposition (PVD), and refractory oxide ion-assist, whether 1, 100 or 10,000 interference filters are required. A typical lead time is 1 to 6 weeks.

A variety of filter types are offered including bandpass, narrowband, wideband, longpass, shortpass, rejection band, beamsplitters and mirrors in any of the following parameters:

wavelength range: 190nm - 2500nm
substrate size: from 2mm diameter or square to 200mm round or 185mm square
filter thickness: from >/= 0.5mm
substrate materials: BK-7, borofloat, fused silica, sapphire, germanium, silicon

LASER COMPONENTS also offer a broad and diverse catalogue product line for an extensive range of applications.
