New General Manager for Semrock – Dr. Michael J. Cumbo
Nine years after founding and then successfully leading Semrock Inc. through tremendous growth and its sale to IDEX Corporation in October 2008, Dr. Victor Mizrahi announced he is stepping down as the company’s President this fall. IDEX and Dr. Mizrahi are very pleased to welcome Dr. Michael J. Cumbo as Semrock’s new General Manager, effective September 14, 2009. Dr. Cumbo brings nearly 30 years of experience in lasers and electro-optics at publicly traded photonics companies such as OCLI, JDS Uniphase, and Coherent, and venture capital funded startups BinOptics, Raydiance and NanoGram Solar.
