Global IT Solutions and Product Engineering Services company MindTRee has announced two exclusive multi-year and multi-million dollar partnerships in the area of IT Infrastructure Management Services. The customers are one of the largest information and communication technology (ICT) service-providers in Europe; and a leading US-based bank.
The combined deal size is over 70 Million USD in the next 5 years. MindTree will use its managed services platform MWatch to provide IMS as Managed Services from India. Specific areas of work include application and infrastructure support services, telecom support services, and remote desktop management services.

“These two deals, one of which is from a European customer, are significant and position us well to be considered for larger scale IMS engagements in the future. MindTree was chosen over significantly larger competition in both cases for our agility, investment in solution accelerators ahead of time, and our service maturity”, said Ram C Mohan, Senior Vice President and Head of Infrastructure Management and Technical Support (IMTS) at MindTree Limited. “The European deal is the single largest multi-year win for MindTree in our history” he added.

Everest Research Institute’s November 2010 report, “Survival of the Differentiated – The Mantra of Success for Tier-2 Service Providers” highlights MindTree’s focus on Infrastructure Management Services as a key differentiator that strongly positions the company for growth in the competitive global services marketplace.

MindTree’s IMTS business is approximately 1000 MindTree Minds (employees) and is one of the fastest growing service lines at MindTree. IMTS offers a comprehensive portfolio of Consulting & Implementation Services, Managed Services, Security Services and Technical Support Services for better risk management, improved control over internal infrastructure and operations, and reduced total cost of ownership. MindTree's service delivery model is based on MWatch for compliance to ITIL and combined with a robust transition methodology ensures a smooth transition to steady-state managed services.
