Link Microtek’s managing director, Steve Cranstone, said that the MCL line was an important addition to the company’s satcom product portfolio: “MCL is a well-established name in the industry, and its first-class range of products fits extremely well with the rotary joints, feed arms and OMTs designed and manufactured by our own Engineering Division.”
European service and support for the MCL high-power amplifiers will be provided by Powerlink, a company specialising in rapid-response services for satcom systems.
MCL’s vice president of marketing and sales, Frank P. Morgan, commented: “We are very pleased to have signed Link Microtek as our UK representative. As well as having an excellent grasp of the technology, they are already dealing with the key military and commercial satcom customers in the UK.”
