Libra registers to supply to medical OEMs
EMS provider Libra Industries has registered its Dallas facility with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a supplier to medical OEMs. The addition of the FDA registration alongside the company’s current certifications allows Libra Industries to further its support in the medical electronics market.
Additionally, the registration supports the company’s manufacturing partnerships with non-medical customers where complete traceability down to component levels is an important part of end-item product tracking and history.
From its five manufacturing facilities in Northeast Ohio and Texas, Libra Industries serves a diverse base of industries including military/aerospace, industrial and LED lighting as well as medical. Libra Industries has an impressive array of certifications and registrations such as ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485-2012, AS9100C:2009, UL, CSA and ITAR, and now FDA.
