Specifically for this event, Laird’s Wireless Automation and Control group will showcase several products for the mining industry including SIAMnet and a variety of remote systems. SIAMnet is the company’s underground communication system for mines. It features high speed data and voice communication in one system and offers flexibility while also being affordable. Laird’s remote systems are ideal for the mining industry as they feature CANOpen/PWM/Relay Outputs and worldwide RF certification. These systems are also lightweight and reliable.

SME 2013 brings together professionals across the mining industry including engineers, sales managers and executives. The program features a full exhibition hall that will showcase products and services for the mining industry along with over 100 educational sessions covering wide breadth of technical information. The technical program also features short courses, field trips and special speakers.
