Laird Technologies Appoints CEO
Laird Technologies, Inc. today announced the appointment of David Lockwood OBE as its Chief Executive Officer. David brings considerable experience from a variety of market and technology sectors relevant to Laird Technologies’ business, particularly in wireless communication.
He hMost recently in his role as Vice President Global Defense & Security at BT Global Services, he has been responsible for the development and delivery of propositions to UK and international defense departments and security agencies as well as major defense contractors.
“I am very pleased that David is joining Laird,” stated Nigel Keen, Executive Chairman of Laird PLC. “His breadth of experience and knowledge of the markets in which Laird operates will help us to drive Laird forward and deliver on our medium to long-term targets.”
David Lockwood will take up the position at a date to be confirmed and at that time Nigel Keen will resume his former role as non-executive Chairman of Laird PLC.
