Korenix Technology acquired by Beijer Electronics

Korenix Technology, the Asian major manufacturer for industrial data communication, has been acquired by the Swedish public company Beijer Electronics, a fast growing technology company with extensive experience of industrial automation and robust data communication.

Korenix Technology will continue its operations with existing organization and management team now as a part of the Beijer Electronics Group. Beijer Electronics’ CEO, Fredrik Jönsson, comments on the acquisition:
We see a tremendous potential in the cooperation between Westermo and Korenix. The respective product lines are complementary and there is a good fit geographically as well,” says Fredrik Jönsson, President and CEO of Beijer Electronics.

John Lin, the co-founder and chairman of Korenix states “Globalization is the worldwide trend and Korenix is ambitious to grow business with the Beijer Electronics Group as an international company. Now Korenix has new opportunities to speed up the product development and increase the market expansion in Asia, especially China, to provide Beijer Electronics and Westermo a strong business base in the Asian market”.
