Industrial Gigabit Ethernet switch has five ports

HARTING has introduced a new industrial Gigabit Ethernet switch, the eCon 2050-AA, which allows the connection of up to five Gigabit Ethernet ports in a very small space.

The new unit operates as an unmanaged switch in store-and-forward switching mode, and features auto-negotiation, auto-crossing and auto-polarity functions which make it fully ‘plug and play’. It is suitable for high data throughput, and supports ‘jumbo’ frames of up to 9728 bytes.

The robust aluminium housing is sealed to IP 30, and the extended operating temperature range from -10°C to +70°C makes it ideal for use in harsh industrial environments. Integrated LEDs on each port of the Ethernet switch make network diagnostics fast and easy.

The eCon 2000 product family also includes four fast Ethernet options with 3, 4, 5 and 16 ports, respectively. All products have the same technical characteristics.
