Presenting the award to Phillips, ARM’s Principal Staff Engineer, NMI CEO Derek Boyd said, “Ian has demonstrated all the qualities this award calls for. He has been instrumental in flying the flag for UK microelectronics design, for championing the need for greater government recognition, closer engagement with Europe and a renewed focus on engineering skills.”

Ian is genuinely passionate about the industry and has always done his utmost to support it.”
