High speed laser marker

Eunil has introduced the in-line ELM-800 Laser Marker, an automation machine used to add a barcode, QR, 1D, or 2D on PCBs. It is essential for traceability as marking data will not be worn off over time. Additionally, the system has minimized marking cycle time by using a laser head with a moving X/Y axis robot and high speed running conveyor.

A barcode scanner is able to be integrated as an option, as well as a data communication which transfers marking data to production management systems. Other options available include a vision camera, PCB orientation verification, and precise marking by fiducial mark.

The ELM-800 is also said to have a space efficient design with a compact machine length.  Laser marking traceability is becoming popular in the industry, as it is a cost effective alternative to labels.  This eliminates the need to replace ink or label paper, and eliminates the need for manual labour.
