Growth in multicore software parallelization drives Vector Fabrics to open US office

Vector Fabrics today announced the opening of a US office, their first regional office to be opened outside the Eindhoven, the Netherlands corporate headquarters. The new facility will provide local field application support for Vector Fabrics’ family of multicore software parallelization tools across the United States in addition to sales support.

Commenting on the announcement, Mike Beunder, CEO, Vector Fabrics says, The opening of our first facility outside the Netherlands demonstrates our goal of further strengthening the tight links and working relationships we have already established with multicore platform and application vendors, especially those in Silicon Valley. The world of mobile applications development is advancing extremely fast and we believe we are well positioned to help silicon vendors and their customers optimize their software for multicore platforms, keeping them at the forefront of mobile application design.

In the past, Vector Fabrics collaboration and partnership initiatives have included announcements with ARM, NVIDIA and Imagination Technologies.
