DT Electronics' forthcoming Xpress Track seminars on the Virtex-5 family will be run in a workshop format using evaluation boards populated with the 5VLX50-10FF676CES device. Engineers and designers will learn how to evaluate the new features of the Virtex-5 family and compare these against the earlier Virtex-4 platform.
Nu Horizons, who acquired DT Electronics recently, has been running Xpress Track seminars in North America since January 2006. Since then thousands of engineers have been trained. The emphasis, from the start, has been on educating designers with the latest technologies available, while providing all the proper tools to speed the design process.

Launched recently by Xilinx, the Virtex-5 field programmable gate array (FPGA) platform is the fifth generation of the Virtex family. Built on Xilinx’s ExpressFabric architecture, the Virtex-5LX platform is aimed at high-performance logic applications and is available in six configurations.

The Virtex-5 Xpress Track UK seminars take place in Southampton on the 23rd January followed by Reading on the 24th January. For further details or to register please visit
