Gen3 Systems is exhibiting at Southern Manufacturing which starts on February 9. The  Gensonic Stencil Cleaning system will be displayed with a 24in stencil frame. It uses a 40kHz on-contact ultrasonic transducer for high efficiency cleaning of stencil apertures and can be used either in conjunction with Gen3 stencil cleaning centres or is portable enough to be taken directly to the printer.

Gen3 also will display its CM22+  contaminometer as well as the OPTILLIA HD W30x Systemwhich is a cost-effective solution for inspection, repair and rework.  The W30x-HD deploys High Definition live video technology and offers superior resolution, contrast and colour reproduction with its built-in 30x auto focus zoom optics. This macro-inspection camera is ideal for visual examination and quality control of assembled boards, wires, connectors and similar objects.

Alongside Gen3 MEK, one of its principals, will be exhibiting the SpectorBOX.  Optimised for the inspection of wave and selective soldering of THT & SMT components, SpectorBOX is designed to inspect PCBs inside solder frames directly from the conveyor system. With its totally new mechanical platform, it is said to be the only modular AOI in the market that can be equipped with nine cameras, including an optional Z-axis moveable head to precisely position and focus for varying PCB distance and warpage. The XY drive gantry with ball screw mechanics delivers high-speed inspection while maintaining high accuracy and precision. Specially coated shafts deliver quiet operation and minimize wear to virtually eliminate maintenance and calibration requirements. With its general purpose I/O, SpectorBOX can be simply interfaced with existing or new conveyor systems.
