ADC claims unmatched dynamic performance for input frequencies above 500 MHz

Texas Instruments has introduced a monolithic 12-bit, 550-MSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC), which provides more than 200 MHz of signal bandwidth in applications where high resolution, accuracy and linearity are critical.

The new pipeline ADC offers the highest spurious-free dynamic range and signal-to-noise ratio available for input frequencies above 500 MHz, enabling more efficient power amplifier linearization in digital pre-distortion solutions, better range and sensitivity in defense imaging and communication systems, and higher accuracy in wide-band test and measurement equipment.
