Fairchild's Energy-Efficient Power Solutions to be Featured at APEC 2008

Fairchild Semiconductor will feature its highly integrated products and product demonstrations for motor, lighting and power supply applications in booth 304 at the Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition (APEC ). The conference focuses on the practical and applied aspects of the power electronics business and will be held February 24-28, 2008 in Austin, Texas.
A paper titled Integrated MOSFET Solutions for Today’s Electronics will also be presented by Mike Speed, Fairchild’s market development manager for computing, consumer and communication on Tuesday, February 26 from 1:30 - 2:00 p.m. This presentation will discuss the role of integrated solutions in creating highly optimized, energy-efficient and space-saving electronics.

Specific product demonstrations will provide designers with efficient solutions for:

— Off-line power applications
— Isolated DC-DC power supplies
— Lighting
— Non-isolated DC-DC applications
— Motors
