The implementation of this new directive means that the following standards have been superseded with a Date of Withdrawal (DOW) of 5th March 2017:
- EN 55022:2010 – Information technology equipment (ITE) – Radio disturbance characteristics – Limits and methods of measurement (and its revision, EN 55022:2010/AC:2011)
- EN 55013:2013 – Sound and television broadcast receivers and associated equipment – Radio disturbance characteristics – Limits and methods of measurement
- EN 55103-1:2009 – Electromagnetic compatibility – Product family standard for audio, video, audio-visual and entertainment lighting control apparatus for professional use – Part 1: Emissions (and its revision, EN 55103-1:2009/A1:2012)
Products which fall within the categories listed above must now conform to EN 55032:2012, as this implements the new European standard.

The DOW of EN 55032:2012 is currently listed, by the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardisation, as 5th May 2018, when the 2015 revised Edition, EN 55032:2015 is due to be implemented.
