As of July 1st 2014, Elma Bustronic has been vertically merged into Elma Electronic. With both companies now operating under the name of Elma Electronic, backplane products will continue to be marketed under the Bustronic name as a product brand.

Although a wholly owned Elma company, merging the Bustronic business into Elma will enhance their combined technical strengths and accelerate the development of next generation products and services, while providing customers with greater efficiencies and improved team coordination.

Shan Morgan, President, Elma Electronic, commented: “The formal merging of Bustronic into the Elma family strengthens our market position by taking advantage of greater efficiencies and streamlined team coordination. The value and performance of the combined companies will be greater than the sum of the separate parts.”

“We look forward to offering even better technical responses as part of a highly coordinated solutions team, enabling us to meet the ever-increasing technical challenges in the market. These changes will positively benefit our customers and partners,” added Boris Micha, Director of Sales, Elma Bustronic.
