Electronic components and solutions make TV debut

Manufacturing Marvels, a US television show broadcast on the Fox Business Network, which showcases American manufacturers and their products, featured AVX Corporation in a two minute segment which aired yesterday (17th March).

The short segment focused on the company’s technology and real world product applications – including automotive, satellite, telecommunications, consumer electronic and medical device technology. Produced by Bob and Jerry May, and narrated by CBS and ABC news veteran John Criswell, Manufacturing Marvels showcases American manufacturers and their products, processes, and customers in a promotional HD broadcast.

“We are honoured that Marvel Productions invited us to share information about our company and technology with the Fox Business Network audience,” said Pete Venuto, Senior Vice President of sales at AVX. “Manufacturing Marvels is an excellent way to give viewers a behind-the-scenes tour of our facilities, and to spread the word that AVX is a leading global manufacturer of advanced electronic components and interconnect solutions, including capacitors, circuit protection devices, filters, inductors, resistors, thermistors, timing devices and microwave and RF components, as well as the leading supplier of tantalum capacitors for medical devices, like pacemakers.”
