The new Intel® Atom™ processor E6xx series is a new System-on-Chip Atom-based processor which includes the memory controller, 3D graphics engine, high-definition video decoder and video encoding engine, display controller, a legacy peripheral controller, and a high-definition audio controller on the same die as the CPU.
It provides beside the standard I/O features 4 x USB 2.0, 3 x COM (one of them is switchable to RS232/422/485), 16 GPIOs, 2 x SATA, 1 x CAN Bus, HD Audio, Dual Gigabit Ethernet, 1 x Micro SD, one Compact Flash Socket and is expandable via mini PCI-Express.
The ECM-QB offers dual display support (LVDS + VGA), TFT Displays can be controlled by single channel 24 Bit LVDS.
This 3.5” embedded board delivers low-power consumption and extended temperature support (optionally). It comes with 1GByte DDR2 SDRAM onboard which makes it also very suitable for rugged applications.
The new ECM-QB from Avalue (Partner of DATA MODUL AG) provides a long-term availability of 5 – 7 years with a strict revision control.
DATA MODUL offers this highly integrated module also with a wide range of different TFT Displays (AUO, Sharp, CMO,…) inclusive inverters, tested cables and adapted Power-ON/OFF timing. The use of a time intensive display adjustment therefore becomes redundant.
DATA MODUL is able to offer their customers firmware-development for Embedded Systems, driver-adjustments and adjustments of operating systems.
