The Dycon D4809 Pet Tolerant PIR Movement Detector enables homeowners to secure their homes while allowing their pets to move freely anywhere in the house, safe in the knowledge that the D4809 eliminates chances of false alarms caused by their pets as it will ignore movement from pets under 27 kg.
Our D4809 Pet Tolerant radio indoor motion detector uses Passive Infra Red (PIR) technology to detect movement of body heat to activate the alarm in the event of an intrusion.

Designed to fit perfectly with any décor, these small unobtrusive detectors are simple to install and do not need field adjustments, and can be surface or corner mounted. Being a radio PIR also means that there is no need to run unsightly cables to install the D4809.

The D4809 Pet Tolerant PIR has been designed to meet the most professional alarm installation standards and yet it is easy to install with remote walk test saving installation time.

• Reliable detection with pet immunity up to 27 kg (one dog or 10 cats approx. providing they remain below a height of 1m)
• Compact design, with fully sealed optics to provide protection against draught, dust and insect ingress, offering a high level of environmental immunity and reducing the burden from repeated false alarms
• Tamper-proof against opening of its case and removal from its mounting surface
• Low battery detection
• Detection range: 12m at 90° angle
• Temperature compensated sensitivity control
• The LED doubles as the Walk Test mode activation button

The D4809 sends regular, random supervision signals to check the integrity of the system.
