In this campaign, everyone had the opportunity to submit a portrait image for a small donation.
The collected photos, together with the 22 logos from well-known businesses in the electronics industry, provided the basis for the design that now adorns the car.
The campaign collected 12,000 euros, and this amount will be donated to the Bundesverband Herzkranke Kinder e.V. (Federal Association for Children with Heart Diseases), a charity that supports families with children who suffer from congenital heart conditions with a variety of services.
The amount of the donations was boosted by a further 1,600 euros with the auctioning off of events and objects related to the Distribution. Art Car.,including a race car passenger ride.
Also, 25 children with heart conditions have the opportunity to experience the races live at the Hockenheimring and Nürburgring – including a behind-the-scenes look at the pit stops and the chance to see the inside of the race car for themselves.
