At the Embedded World international trade fair in Nuremberg (2-4 March) Arrow Electronics will present current modules and services relating to its Embedded Platform Concept, as well as new technologies from Arrow Embedded Solutions. Only a few months after merging the two distribution brands of Spoerle and Sasco into Arrow in Central Europe, the company will have its own dedicated stand, bringing the full range of technical hardware, software and service options for embedded applications under the umbrella of the Arrow brand.
Specialists from Arrow Engineering Services will have 100 square metres of exhibition space to present system solutions, including real-time applications running under Linux on a wide range of processor platforms, such as DSPs or ARM9. Another special feature will be accelerated application development with high-end processor technologies based on the systematic application of the modular IP core module in combination with scalable dedicated services from the EPC.

State-of-the-art display solutions highlight the performance capabilities of the system solutions prepared by Arrow Engineering and Engineering Services. The main areas of application, which are representative of a wide range of potential applications, are industrial control, e-metering, smart grid technology, LED lighting and communications technology. All topics featured address both energy efficiency and high performance. There will be demonstrations of this in the shape of the 4-channel IO-Link Master Board recently introduced as part of the EPC and the universal IO-Link Device Board for the automation technology field.
