Product and Solution Demonstrations will include

* Industry's first 40-nm FPGA Development Kit featuring integrated triple Rate SDI (SD/HD/3G)

* Altera and Omnitek deliver the industry's first multi-channel triple rate SDI to PCI Express Gen2 bridge. The reference design enables up to four 3G inputs and four 3G outputs simultaneously with a PCI Gen2 interface and includes Windows Vista/XP drivers API and application software

* Industry's first 1080p customizable up/down/cross format conversion solution featuring broadcast quality and low latency

* Altera's Stratix IV GX reference design featuring the latest enhancements with 1080p video framework, including highly efficient memory controller. See Altera's motion adaptive deinterlacer and polyphase scaler in action in the following new customer products at NAB:

o Apantac's Tahoma Multiviewer, which includes a built-in CATx extender, scalable to 32 inputs (SD/HD/Composite, 3G upgradeable) with DVI, HDMI and VGA output support - Booth SL13013

o QuStream's DL-DVI Media Extender with support for resolutions up to 2560x1600 - Booth N3421

o Wohler's Touch-It Digital, touch screen 16-channel HD/SD-SDI video monitor and touch screen switcher, and AMP1-16-3G, a 1 RU 16-channel 3 Gbps audio/video monitor - Booth N1102

* Hardware demonstration of Altera's Stratix IV GX FPGA power advantage—50 percent less power than any other high-end FPGA on the market

* 1,067 Mbps (533 MHz) DDR3 memory interface demonstration on Altera's Stratix IV GX FPGA

* Broadcast quality audio sample rate converter in Altera's Stratix IV GX FPGAs

* Latest information on third-party video CODEC solutions, including MPEG2, H.264/AVC-I, DNxHD, and JPEG2000
