Typical applications include providing wireless connectivity for bar code readers, handheld security equipment, mobile data capture devices. They will also work with virtually any device with an available CF or PCMCIA card slot.
Included in the range are one EDGE/GSM Compact Flash Card Modem, the EDGE110M, and two GPRS Compact Flash Card Modems, the GPRS110R and the GPRS118S.
Although primarily aimed at data transfer, these new cards also support voice and SMS. There is no need for drivers or third party application software to run these cards, as they have been designed to use native operating systems software in most cases. The antenna is both removable and replaceable, offering maximum flexibility.
