Throughout May and June, Electronic Specifier's Marketing Director, Tess Weller, is looking for individuals involved in the supplier selection process for electronics components to complete a research project as a part of her International Marketing MSc at King’s College. Making an initial enquiry about what is involved with the research will not mean you have to take part, she will be happy answer any questions and help you decide if you wish to participate.

What is the purpose of the research?

Supporting an overall understanding of changes to the industry, the purpose of the project is to explore how the organisational purchase decisions of supplier selection has been impacted in the last few years by the lack of trade fairs and the development of communication technologies. This research will also provide a wider insight into any critical changes to the electronics industry.

What will be involved?

The study will be conducted with a series of interviews throughout May and June, around one hour long conducted in-person and virtually. Questions will look at how your experiences have changed in the last few years in regards to supplier selection. Has the way you make decisions changed? Do you value new attributes from suppliers? Were you affected by problems with the supply chain?

If you would be interested in knowing more about participating, or know someone who might be able to help, please contact tess.weller@kcl.ac.uk or connect with Tess Weller via Linkedin. Or complete this form.
