Multitron introduces MENTOR’s Flexible Light Guides
Multitron has announced the availability of MENTOR’s Flexible Light Guides, offering a cost-effective solution for various product design challenges.
These light guides are particularly useful for redesigns during mid-life upgrade cycles. Made from PU, they are extremely flexible, allowing light to shine through even when tied into knots.
The Flexible Light Guides feature a simple push-fit mechanism and a low minimum order quantity of just one piece. Designed for use with SMD TOPLEDs, the guides fit into a polycarbonate housing held in place on the PCB with two press-in lugs. They come standard with a transparent lens.
MENTOR provides numerous options, including customisation. Solutions are available for SMD and THT LEDs with fibre diameters of 1,000, 2,000, and 3,000μm. Additionally, coloured lenses and custom lengths are offered.
