Taiwan’s IBASE Technology has unveiled a compact Edge computing system aimed at industrial and AI applications, underscoring growing demand for high-performance, energy-efficient processing at the network Edge.
The ASB210-962H, powered by Intel’s Core Ultra 100H series processor, is designed for use in sectors such as industrial automation, machine vision, and industrial IoT.
The chip’s built-in AI acceleration and turbo frequencies of up to 5.0 GHz allow the system to handle data-intensive tasks while maintaining relatively low power consumption.
The unit supports up to 96GB of DDR5-5600 memory and is equipped with multiple M.2 expansion slots to accommodate NVMe storage, 5G or 4G/LTE modems, WiFi modules, or additional AI accelerators.
It also offers a broad range of connectivity options, including multiple LAN, USB, and COM ports, as well as display outputs, allowing integration with cameras, sensors, and other Edge devices.
IBASE said the device has been engineered for industrial-grade reliability, featuring shock and vibration resistance, as well as operation across temperatures ranging from -10°C to +50°C. With a 28W thermal design power, the ASB210-962H delivers strong performance while optimising thermal and power efficiency.
The company described the product as “future-ready” for AI inference and high-speed data processing in space-constrained environments. The system can be mounted on walls or VESA brackets, making it suitable for 24/7 use in harsh conditions.
