EVBox enters Saudi Arabian market with EV chargers

EVBox is entering the Saudi Arabia market by joining forces with the AlSharif Group and CATEC Mobility to make electric mobility widely available in the country.

Together the companies attended the EV Auto Show event from the 1st to the 3rd of November 2022, showcasing EVBox Elvi and EVBox Business Line, which are now SASO-certified and ready to use by EV drivers in that region. 

EVBox is pleased to announce that EVBox Elvi and EVBox Business Line have passed the Saudi Arabia Conformity Assessment Program and are now SASO-certified, increasing the options and accessibility of EV charging stations in the Saudi Arabian market. EVBox is partnering with reseller AlSharif Group Holding and with distributor CATEC Mobility to increase the accessibility of electric mobility in the Middle East. 

Experts weigh in on industry trends

Together, the companies attended the EV Auto Show, highlighting the charging stations and the increasing possibilities for customers. EVBox also participated in a panel discussion about sustainability, renewables, and connectivity together with DXBe Management, SAP, and Wallbox. The “Integrating Renewables and Battery Storage in EV Charging” panel discussed important topics such as the use of renewables in EV infrastructure, the increasing importance of renewable resources, and the needs of the EV Infrastructure, platforms, and connectivity.
